For selected-load or whole-home backup setups, a licensed electrician can design the proper wiring, transfer equipment, load plan, and coupling transformer if needed.

The RoamEnergy EV PowerBridge Pro for North America is designed to extract energy from compatible CCS-enabled electric vehicles and deliver up to 7,500W of portable AC output. It supports both 120V and 240V output modes, giving EV owners a practical way to power essential loads, outdoor equipment, tools, camping gear, and selected backup devices during outages or off-grid use.

Unlike a fuel generator, PowerBridge Pro uses the energy already stored in your EV battery. No gasoline, no fumes, no engine noise, and no permanent vehicle modification required.

What Can It Power?

PowerBridge Pro can support many common loads within its output limit, including refrigerators, freezers, lights, routers, pumps, power tools, camping equipment, cooking appliances, and selected emergency backup devices.

Actual runtime depends on your EV battery size, vehicle settings, connected load, and the minimum battery level you choose to reserve for driving.

Important North America Electrical Note

In 240V mode, PowerBridge Pro provides single-phase 240V output. It does not provide standard U.S. split-phase 120/240V output with neutral. For U.S. home backup use, it should be treated as a portable backup power source for essential loads, selected circuits, or compatible equipment — not as a whole-home backup system or direct replacement for a permanently installed generator.

Do not connect PowerBridge Pro directly to a main electrical panel, generator inlet, transfer switch, or fixed household wiring unless the system design has been reviewed and installed by a qualified licensed electrician using appropriate equipment.

Will this affect my vehicle warranty?

No. Normal use of PowerBridge Pro does not automatically void your vehicle warranty. PowerBridge Pro is an external portable EV power device. It does not modify your vehicle’s battery, wiring, hardware, software, firmware, or BMS. It communicates through the vehicle’s existing CCS pathway, and based on our testing and customer usage experience, the vehicle recognizes the connection as a CCS session.

RoamEnergy has supported more than 20,000 EV backup power users globally, and we have not received any reports of customers losing their EV battery warranty from normal PowerBridge use.

Is PowerBridge Pro waterproof?

No. PowerBridge Pro is not waterproof. Keep the unit, cables, and connectors dry. Use it in a covered, dry, and well-ventilated location.

Is PowerBridge Pro safe to use with my EV?

Yes. PowerBridge Pro is designed as an external portable EV power device for compatible CCS-enabled electric vehicles. It works through the vehicle-side charging and communication pathway and does not require vehicle disassembly, rewiring, or permanent modification.

For safe use, always follow the user manual, stay within the rated output limits, keep the unit and connectors dry, and use properly rated cables and equipment.

Do I need installation or electrical modifications?

For normal portable use, no permanent installation is required. You can use PowerBridge Pro as a portable power source with properly rated appliances, tools, and equipment.

For household circuits, transfer switches, electrical panels, or any fixed wiring, installation and compliance requirements should be reviewed by a qualified licensed electrician.

What is your return and warranty policy?

PowerBridge Pro includes a one-year limited warranty. If the product has a confirmed quality issue, we will help with troubleshooting, replacement, or warranty support according to our policy.
