RoamEnergy serves customers in multiple international markets. This policy explains our voluntary return, cancellation, refund, and warranty terms, together with important statutory consumer rights that may apply depending on where you live.
For additional manufacturer warranty information, please also see our Returns & Warranty page. If there is any conflict between a RoamEnergy voluntary policy and mandatory consumer law, the applicable consumer law will prevail.
If your order has been paid for but has not yet been shipped, you may request cancellation by contacting support@roamenergy.tech.
For cancellations made under RoamEnergy's voluntary cancellation policy, a 5% cancellation fee may apply to help cover non-recoverable payment-processing and administrative costs.
This fee applies only where permitted by law and does not apply where doing so would interfere with a mandatory statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer right.
If your order has already been fulfilled, shipped, or handed to a carrier, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where a cancellation is made under RoamEnergy's voluntary policy rather than a mandatory statutory right, a cancellation or restocking fee of up to 10% may apply after shipment. Original shipping charges may also be non-refundable where permitted by law.
These charges do not apply where prohibited by applicable law or where the customer is exercising statutory rights relating to faulty, defective, unsafe, misdescribed, damaged, or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel an order. Refused packages will be processed according to this policy and applicable consumer law.
In addition to any statutory rights available to you, RoamEnergy offers an additional voluntary return period of 30 days from delivery for eligible products.
Before returning a product, please contact support@roamenergy.tech for return instructions and, where applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
The following conditions apply only to returns made under RoamEnergy's voluntary 30-day return policy and not to claims based on mandatory consumer rights:
If your product arrives damaged, develops a fault, is materially different from its description, is unsafe, or otherwise fails to meet an applicable statutory standard or consumer guarantee, please contact us promptly.
We may request reasonable information necessary to diagnose or verify the issue, including your order number, photos, videos, product information, diagnostic information, or reasonable troubleshooting results.
Where a product defect or non-conformity is confirmed, RoamEnergy will provide the remedy required under applicable law. Depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, reimbursement, or another legally required remedy.
Where required by applicable law, RoamEnergy will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs associated with a valid claim.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer's right to choose a particular remedy where applicable law gives that choice to the consumer.
After receiving a returned product, we may inspect or assess it where reasonably appropriate and permitted by law.
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval, unless applicable law requires an earlier refund.
Banks, card issuers, and payment providers may require additional processing time before a completed refund appears in your account.
RoamEnergy generally does not provide direct exchanges for voluntary change-of-mind returns. You may return an eligible product under the applicable return terms and place a new order.
This does not limit any statutory right to repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, or another remedy for faulty or non-conforming goods.
RoamEnergy products include a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, unless a longer commercial warranty period was expressly included with your purchase.
This manufacturer warranty is a commercial benefit provided in addition to applicable statutory consumer rights.
To make a manufacturer warranty claim, please email support@roamenergy.tech and provide your order number, a description of the issue, and reasonably requested supporting information such as photos or videos.
Additional commercial warranty terms are available on our Returns & Warranty page.
Regional Consumer Rights
RoamEnergy's voluntary return and manufacturer warranty policies apply in addition to any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable U.S. federal, state, or local law.
Consumer protection laws may vary by state. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers in Canada may have consumer rights under applicable federal, provincial, or territorial law.
RoamEnergy's voluntary return and manufacturer warranty terms apply in addition to any mandatory rights, legal warranties, remedies, or consumer protections applicable in the customer's province or territory.
Where Canadian law gives a customer stronger or additional rights, those statutory rights will prevail over any inconsistent voluntary term in this policy.
UK consumers purchasing online have statutory rights in addition to RoamEnergy's voluntary policies.
For most goods purchased online, a UK consumer generally has the right to cancel the contract without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods.
To exercise this right, you must clearly notify RoamEnergy of your decision to cancel before the applicable cancellation period expires.
After notifying us of cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Unless the goods are faulty or applicable law requires otherwise, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this has been properly disclosed.
Where required by UK law, we will refund the amount paid for the goods and the cost of the least-expensive standard outbound delivery option offered by us. Additional costs resulting from an upgraded or expedited delivery method selected by you may not be refundable beyond the standard-delivery amount.
Where legally permitted, a refund may be reduced to reflect diminished value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining the product in a physical shop.
Statutory refunds will be processed within the period required by UK law.
Rights relating to faulty, unsafe, misdescribed, or non-conforming goods are separate from the online change-of-mind cancellation right.
Nothing in this policy limits rights available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations, or other applicable UK consumer legislation.
Consumers located in the European Union or European Economic Area may have mandatory rights under EU consumer law and applicable national law in addition to RoamEnergy's voluntary policies.
For most online purchases, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform RoamEnergy of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.
After notifying us of withdrawal, the goods should generally be returned within 14 days.
Unless the product is faulty or applicable law requires otherwise, the consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this obligation has been properly disclosed before purchase.
Where required by applicable EU law, RoamEnergy will reimburse the price paid and the cost of the least-expensive standard outbound delivery method offered by us. Additional costs resulting from a more expensive delivery option selected by the consumer are generally not required to be reimbursed.
Where permitted by law, the consumer may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
RoamEnergy may delay reimbursement until the goods are returned or until the consumer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, where applicable law permits.
EU consumers have statutory rights if goods are defective, do not match their description, are not fit for their intended purpose, or otherwise fail to conform to the sales contract.
Under EU minimum consumer protection rules, new goods generally benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from delivery. Individual EU or EEA countries may provide longer or additional protections.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable national law, statutory remedies may include repair or replacement free of charge and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract and refund.
RoamEnergy's 1-year manufacturer warranty is separate from and additional to these statutory legal guarantee rights.
Nothing in this policy reduces any mandatory consumer protection available under EU law or the national law applicable to the consumer.
RoamEnergy's voluntary policies and manufacturer warranty are provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Australian consumer guarantees apply automatically and may continue for a reasonable period depending on the nature, price, expected durability, and other characteristics of the goods. These rights may continue beyond the period of RoamEnergy's voluntary manufacturer warranty.
For a major failure, Australian Consumer Law may give the consumer the right to choose between a refund and replacement.
For a minor failure, RoamEnergy will provide the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law within a reasonable time.
Conditions applying only to voluntary change-of-mind returns — including original packaging requirements, unused-condition requirements, or restocking fees — do not restrict Australian Consumer Law rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods.
Return, transport, and other reasonable costs associated with an Australian Consumer Law claim will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Customers outside the markets listed above may have mandatory rights under applicable local consumer law regarding withdrawal, cancellation, product conformity, legal guarantees, warranty, repair, replacement, refunds, or other remedies.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
